Fritz Hawkey: Get yourself a MiniDV tape camcorder, there are many in that price range, They take the best quality video, to be exact to get an HD camcorder that could take as good quality video as a MiniDV tape camcorder would cost in excess of $3500. Canon camcorders shoot in low light very well. Slow motion, I let my NLE handle that since it has an app for doing so that makes it easy to do. I use Pinnacle Studio 14 HD Ultimate for my NLE.
