Ulysses Failey: Yes. That's US$38 each a day. It would indeed be enough for food and transportation and maybe a few little extras especially as this is excluding accommodation. Nepal is very cheap though. This will be a fairly low budget trip though so you won't be going on any expensive excursion or high end restaurants. Just make sure you both stick to your US38 daily budget and if you have a cheap day one day and spend less you can put more info the fund for the next day.
