Do nukes have an expiration date?

An Cardine: Yes but it is longer than your lifetime

Rayford Latz: The fissionable/fusionable material at their core has an expiration date of 500 million years. The mechanisms that make them explode degrade over time and have to be maintained precisely.

Raymundo Kyser: yes and they are even more dangerous after they expire.

Buster Buchko: they have half lifes.. check it out on wikapedia~

Rebeca Mckin: In a way yes. the material can be reused but the mechanical parts need replacements. The radioactive portion of the bomb will eventually lose it's potency becoming less radioactive.
