Interview coming up, please read my resume?

Weldon Totaro: Well, I've got few suggestions.1. Make sure your perspective is right. Have in mind the exact job you're applying for when you write your resume. Focus on the skills, experience, and education needed for that job. Because more than anything, your resume is an advertisement.2. Either modify or delete your objective. I know, I know. Most people suggest using an objective on a resume. But for some reason they never really explain why. The fact is, objectives are typically self-serving and are a terrible way to start out the resume. I suggest using a "Summary" statement instead. Much more powerful.3. Focus on communicating your value and your benefit to the employer. Instead of just showing what your responsibilities and duties were on past jobs, show what you accomplished. 4. As far as the secondary education goes... It really depends on its relevance to the job you're after. You may consider just naming the school and writing, "Currently enrolled" and/or "Pur! suing ____ degree". It really depends on your situation though. Those are some basic pointers. Arlene Maycumber: I have no idea what you can do, other than volunteer. Get specific. Yes, put down your future education plans. What did you study in high school? Read it over and ask yourself, if someone else read this, would they know what I can do?
