Shena Etulain: these belts do not have automatic tensioners so as they get hot and stretch they will need to be re-tightened.
Robt Betker: The noise you were hearing was in fact a loose belt but at this point after driving your car for a few days you probably already glazed the belt. Glazing on the belt makes the rubber shiny and hard where the pulley come in contact with the belt. The best way to fix this problem is get new belts and have them properly tension rite the fist time. A properly tensioned belt should deflect at the longest side of the belt between 1/4" - 1/2".
Coleman Petropoulos: Could be your mechanic isn't positioning/ tightening the belts correctly.
Cletus Makler: well your mechanic sucks sorry to say but i can tell you from here that its going to be the tention pully the bearing is starting to go dry and is screaming. replace it and your good , the tention pully( bearing) is also related to the stationary pully( bearing) which 90 per! cent of the time its the first to start making noise.
Terresa Tsasie: Loose belts, They are slipping on their pulleys. Have them tightened.
